What I think:

The best way out is always through.

"Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work"

After several years of working with a strong focus on corporate litigation, I felt an innate desire to continue growing in a fast-paced and more dynamic field – both personally and professionally. This is why I joined NEON in 2024 and now work at the intersection of Private Equity and Venture Capital.

If fate had been any different, I would probably be working as a doctor in some far-flung corner of the world. Although my thirst for adventure never left me, my deep appreciation for language eventually led me down the legal pathway. In addition to my work, my friends and hobbies play an essential role in my life. Whether it’s yoga, pilates, cross-fit, meditation or analogue photography, I love it all and I do it all. But my biggest passion is surfing. I can spend endless hours scrolling on Google Maps to find out where my next surf trip will take me. Madagascar, North Sumatra, Western Australia – there are always empty waves to score and an ice-cold drink to share with local surfers.

What surfing means to me: It teaches me to maintain a balance in my life. Ambition and competitiveness are just as important as a sense of humbleness, openness to joy and genuine connection.

The same applies to my work as a lawyer. I approach complex legal challenges with a sense of exploration, passion, and determination. The output is as crucial to me as the process itself.

NEON is many things simultaneously. Here, I have found an environment that values diversity and teamwork and gives me the opportunity to push my very own limits. Complex transactions are our bread and butter, and my team and I strive to excel. Like surfing, NEON is more than just a place to work, it is a way of life.
