NEON has successfully advised CannonKirk–Group on the acquisition and subsequent sale of two undeveloped project development sites located at the historic “Checkpoint Charlie” in Friedrichstraße, Berlin-Mitte.

The complex transaction involved a “loan-to-own” structure, including the acquisition of the pre-existing (defaulted) bank position and securities along with a realization agreement with the insolvency administrator of the insolvent property company.
