NEON advises Seniovo on the sale to HORNBACH

27 November 2023 | NEON provided comprehensive legal advice to the shareholders on the sale of Seniovo to HORNBACH. Since 2017, the Berlin-based startup has established itself as the market leader for senior-friendly bathroom conversions. By joining forces with HORNBACH, the standardization of barrier-free bathrooms can now be further advanced.

HORNBACH customers have long been able to call on the company’s specialist service for various renovation ventures. The DIY store is now broadening its repertoire and reinforcing its service for age-appropriate living with Seniovo.

Seniovo has initiated and implemented more than 3,000 renovation projects since 2017. With its full-service package, the startup makes it easier for people to enjoy a better quality of life. Thanks to modern technology, they relieve customers of bureaucratic hurdles, for example, and offer financial support. In HORNBACH, Seniovo founders Jonathan Kohl, Florian Stiebler and Robert Schneider have now found a partner who will help them to further realise their vision.

This offers many opportunities, particularly given the demographic change. On the one hand, HORNBACH is strengthening its expertise within the retail service. On the other hand, Seniovo will be able to make its expertise in barrier-free bathroom conversions accessible to far more people.
