NEON appoints four new Partners in 2024
NEON has appointed Annette Schwab, Till Wansleben and Matthias Kuballa as new Partners to the partnership as of 1 January 2024. Katja Walkhoff was appointed Salary Partner.
Annette Schwab takes over the management of the Dispute team together with Matthias Kuballa after only 6 years with the firm. She is an excellent litigator and expert on complex and high-volume corporate, commercial and liability law disputes – litigious, quick-witted, tactically clever and strong in acquisitions. Her wide-ranging client base includes a major American corporation with extensive ongoing business.
Till Wansleben is an expert in complex and cross-border M&A and Private Equity transactions; his clients include in particular small and mid-cap private equity investors, whom he advises comprehensively. He will join in taking over the management of our private equity practice in the future. In addition, he has extensive expertise, particularly in advising on complex multi-seller exits, and thus operates very successfully within the firm at the interface of Venture Capital, M&A and Private Equity.
Matthias Kuballa is an outstanding litigator with proven expertise in liability, competition and corporate law and has also been working as a notary since 2023. He represents clients in complex, high-volume Disputes in all core areas of commercial law and also acts very successfully within the firm at the interface with Real Estate law. Matthias Kuballa, together with Annette Schwab, takes over the management of the Disputes team.
Katja Walkhoff is an expert in Real Estate transactions and asset management. She focuses in particular on advising on complex, large-volume rental agreements, including in the context of project developments. Her numerous well-known clients, including Blackstone | OfficeFirst, benefit from her special negotiating skills and her eye for the essentials.
