NEON has successfully advised VARM, a Berlin-based innovator in building insulation, on their impressive €17.5 million Series A financing round. VARM is committed to revolutionizing energy efficiency by insulating single-family homes in just one day at a fixed price, while also building execution capacity through its unique training program and a network of established trade firms.

The funding round was led by ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund, with GET Fund as co-lead, alongside new investor Aurum Impact and existing investors Emerge, Pale Blue Dot, and noa. This capital will enable VARM to scale its operations and work towards its ambitious goal of insulating one million buildings across Europe by 2035.

VARM operates under a unique business model that addresses the critical shortage of skilled labor in the retrofit market. Their partner program allows established trade firms to add insulation to their services, supported by VARM’s AI platform, training, and operational standards.
