What I think:

Everything should be as simple as it can be, but not simpler.

“Making Things Make Sense.”

I enjoy finding clarity in complexity. To me, law is basically math with words. It’s about recognizing patterns, thinking through problems logically, and turning that into solutions that actually work. I like things that make sense. And I like making things make sense — for clients, colleagues, and myself.

People are often surprised to learn I’m a lawyer. Maybe because I speak plainly, stay grounded, and believe in solutions that are both smart and practical. What I do enjoy is solving tricky problems — especially in collaborative teams where structure and creativity go hand in hand. That love of structure shows up in other parts of my life, too. Whether I’m lifting weights or taking on hands-on projects in my free time, I’m drawn to challenges where systematic thinking and attention to detail matter. Like in law, it’s about creating order from complexity and making sure everything fits.

At NEON, I value the openness, the freedom to shape how we work, and the shared belief that no one is left alone with a challenge. Whether I’m deep in flow or exchanging ideas with the team, I’m happiest when learning something new and turning that into something useful.

My favorite place? On a rooftop in Kreuzberg with friends and music, ideally after a good workout and a well-solved legal puzzle.
