Dr. Johannes Meinel

I am one of the three founding partners of BMH Bräutigam which today is NEON. I started my career as an M&A lawyer dealing primarily with US based clients operating in Germany. Then the German reunification happened and I became deeply involved in privatizations of state owned enterprises acting as a lawyer for the German federal government. Among other things, these transactions would have complex and fascinating real estate and environmental aspects and made me develop a keen interest in real estate transactions. Among my clients have been large private equity funds investing in real estate throughout Europe. Since my appointment as a notary in 2000, I have concentrated on notarial work for corporate and private clients with a focus on real estate, in particular large scale residential investments.

My clients value my ability to provide experienced, reliable and timely legal advice focusing on guidance and solutions. Key to the quality of my notarial work is my excellent notarial support team ensuring fast and accurate handling of deeds, filings and client communication.
