Jan-Peter Heyer
At school.
„Integrity is key.“
I became a lawyer because the profession requires debate skills and the ability to tackle intricate problems and offers autonomy. My enjoyment of debate drives me to engage deeply with every argument, ensuring no stone is left unturned.
With decades of experience as M&A lawyer, my role has evolved, with a significant portion now devoted to notarial work in the transactional sector. This shift has allowed me to leverage my experience while continuing to serve in a capacity that demands both precision and creativity.
Integrity is always at the forefront of my advice. My drive comes from the freedom to explore legal complexities, the trust I have built with clients and colleagues, and my innate curiosity about people and cultures. This curiosity fuels my discussions on topics ranging from politics and economics to history, enriching my perspective and approach to legal challenges.
What distinguishes me from my colleagues at NEON: constant professional attire, a tie and a work style that favours the quiet of the night for deep concentration.
Away from the office, my world revolves around travel and spending time with my loved ones. Whether in our French home or exploring foreign cultures, it’s these moments that recharge my batteries and inspire me.
