I am driven by curiosity — about new technologies, different ways of living and the question of how things work and how they can be improved. At one point, I could easily have imagined becoming a software developer. In the end, it was law that offered the broader space to connect technical topics, societal questions and practical solutions.

I do my best work in a calm, focused setting, usually in the mornings from my home office. Good ideas often emerge when the mind has room to wander, for example on long train journeys. Complex matters do not intimidate me — quite the opposite. What matters to me is understanding them well enough to explain them clearly. Not complicated, but precise.

In my work, I operate at the intersection of law and technology. I am particularly drawn to mandates involving innovative business models, especially in the fields of AI, Legal Tech and IP.

Focus also plays an important role outside of work. Whether diving, where precision and calm are essential, or practicing yoga, these moments shape the way I work as a lawyer as well. Patience, fairness and team spirit are not buzzwords to me, but the foundation of good collaboration.
