Support Staff IT

Your mission

Recognising the critical role that technology plays in the success of our firm, we are looking for an experienced IT support professional to support our technology needs.
In our First Level IT Support role, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the firm's IT operations. Your key responsibilities will include
  • User Support: Providing technical support to our staff with questions and problems relating to software (mainly MS Office), Windows settings, peripherals, permissions, telephone system, login and connection errors on the terminal server and other hardware and software issues.
  • Set up and maintain workstations, laptops and mobile devices for new and existing employees, including reviewing the required network infrastructure.
  • Assist with the technical onboarding of new employees
  • Troubleshooting network connections and ensuring uninterrupted Internet use
  • Liaise with external suppliers and IT experts to resolve technical issues and implement system upgrades and software installations.
  • Assist with the management of the company's IT inventory and documentation of IT procedures.

Your profile

We are looking for a technical problem solver with a passion for delivering world class IT support and service, a proactive and detail oriented individual with in-depth knowledge. You should also have
  • A degree in IT or equivalent work experience following a career change.
  • Work experience in a similar IT support role with a focus on on-site support
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with hardware setups, network applications and telephone systems
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Customer focus and interpersonal communication skills to explain technical concepts in an understandable manner to non-technical users
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising effectively and meeting deadlines
