NEON has successfully advised UVC Partners on their impressive €12 million seed round of  Sonia, a pioneering company dedicated to integrating intuitive and trustworthy AI assistants into everyday medical practice.

Sonia is building a voice-based AI assistant for everyday medical practice that automatically documents and summarizes treatments as well as patient consultations and consent discussions. At the same time, the system captures all billable codes and directly supports physicians with their billing. Sonia is tackling one of the biggest challenges in healthcare: doctors often spend more than a third of their time on administration instead of patient care. The AI assistant already saves medical staff an average of one hour per day, creating more time for what truly matters: good medicine.
